1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Skedbit ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Skedbit is a cron job scheduling service that allows you to schedule and execute HTTP requests at specified intervals. The service includes:

  • Cron expression-based job scheduling
  • Extended timeout support (up to 5 minutes)
  • Intelligent retry logic with exponential backoff
  • Real-time monitoring and execution logs
  • Webhook endpoint testing capabilities

3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

To use Skedbit, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Ensuring your webhook URLs and endpoints are secure and appropriate
  • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Not using the service for illegal, harmful, or malicious purposes

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.1 Plans Available

  • Free Plan: Limited features with basic timeout limits
  • Indie Plan: Enhanced features with extended timeouts
  • Pro Plan: Full features with maximum timeouts and priority support

4.2 Billing Cycles

Subscriptions are available on monthly or yearly billing cycles. Yearly subscriptions include a discount compared to monthly billing.

4.3 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the subscription fees.

5. Refund Policy

5.1 Monthly Subscriptions

Full Refund: Available within 24 hours of subscription if no jobs have been used or scheduled.

NO Refund: If jobs have been job used, no refund will be issued. You can continue to use the service until the end of you billing.

5.2 Yearly Subscriptions

Full Refund: Available within 72 hours of subscription if no jobs have been used or scheduled.

Pro-rated Refund: After 72 hours or if jobs have been used/scheduled, refunds will be pro-rated to charge 1 month of the regular (non-discounted) amount.

6. Service Availability and Limitations

6.1 Service Level

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance and unexpected outages may occur.

6.2 Usage Limits

Each plan has specific limits on job execution frequency, timeout durations, and number of jobs. Exceeding these limits may result in service restrictions.

6.3 Fair Use Policy

Users must not abuse the service through excessive requests, attempting to overload our systems, or using the service in ways that negatively impact other users.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Skedbit for:

  • Illegal activities or violation of any laws
  • Sending spam, malware, or malicious content
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other systems
  • Violating the privacy or rights of others
  • Distributing copyrighted material without permission
  • Any activity that could harm or disrupt our service or infrastructure
  • Reselling, sublicensing, or offering Skedbit as a service to third parties without permission

8. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using Skedbit, you consent to our data practices as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

The Skedbit service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by us and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

10. Termination

10.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support.

10.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in prohibited activities.

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your access to the service will cease, and your data may be deleted after a reasonable grace period.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

12. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Skedbit be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the service. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
